The robbery occurred about 8:52 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 at the station at 1271 Stratfield Road.

The suspect is described as a tall, stocky, white male wearing a full gray ski mask, gray pants, brown boots and a black hoodie carried a knife in his right hand as entered the gas station's store through the front door.

The male then ordered the clerk behind the cash register to open the cash drawer, according to police.

The suspect fled the store after obtaining an undetermined amount of cash from the register, police said.

The suspect entered the passenger side of a light gray Chevy Silverado pick-up truck bearing an unknown Connecticut registration plate. The truck appeared to have a dark, possibly black, ladder rack and tool style box in the bed of the truck.

The Chevy Silverado appeared to be a mid 90’s model with the Chevy symbol in the middle of the tailgate.

Fairfield Police officers pursued a vehicle matching the description on Sunday which was not apprehended and was last seen on Hawley Avenue headed toward Main Street in Bridgeport.

If the vehicle is located or you have additional information on the suspect, please contact the Fairfield Police Department Detective Bureau at 203-254-4840 or Text ‘FPD’ plus your tip to CRIMES (274637).
